About the sound

I just found out that my Sound Blaster PCI(live) audio card frezze my sistem in a 30%,I don't know why , But my motherboard has a Real teck audio sistem ,I just change it and FSX has been impresibly improve in my system ,I have my frames locked into a 20 and a 747 loaded It doesn't low that 20FRPS (like if it asking me to increase it maybe to 30)while with my Sound blaster Audio card kept me in a 14 -15 ,when I hit Q It increase it a lot , Still testing But I thing I will disconect my professional audio card forever

That's what one of those computer gurus told me..  Use of a sound card will not improve your graphics performance, and if anything can drag it down a bit.

On-board sound is just fine..

You're right..  I should have said that on-board sound is just fine for FSX...

With 2 dual slot GPUs and a wireless board I had nowhere to install my sound board. With the sound on the new boards I found I do not miss it anyway, but I also do no audio auditing either.

Well fsx does not have the most complicated of sounds. I used onboard for the longest time and finally got an audigy2 and I saw a decent improvement but all my friends were using onboard and they heard mine and they had new soundcards within the week. I guess you need something to compare it to to really see the difference.
