Running Both FSX & FS9?

Can you install and run both FSX & FS9 on the same machine without complications? Not play at the same time of course but have both versions available. Can it be done safely on a Windows XP box (or any Windows version)?

Yep because they both install to different locations

I once had all in Microsoft games folder , I didn't have any problem, At the moment I have only both FS9 and FSX in this folder ,but soon I won't need FS9 anymore  8-)

yea it will work perfectly fine i have all my flight sims instaled and it works fine

Not a problem at all, I have both installed, although I mostly use FS9.  I just have too many problems with this computer/FSX.  I'm not entirely blaming Microsoft, I just have a three year old computer.

I confirm as well. You can perfectly install FS9 and FSX, why would there be any problem ?  :-?

Once I have instaled fs98,fs2000,fs2002,fs2004 in the same Program files/Microsoft games: and if it were FSX by that time  would be there too ,and no issues at all ... 8-)
