Scenery Files

Postby Cpt_AaronB » Sun Apr 22, 2007 2:10 am

I am haveing problems converting my Xml files to Bgl files. I am using the Bglcomp.exe to try and convert. Also bare in mind that I am also have the the SP1 for SDK installed as well. When I click on the exe file all I get is a black screen for about a half of a second. I am sure I am doing something wrong. Does anyone have any ideas? I have read and reread the instructions provided w/ the SDK and I am not getting what they are saying I should get. Please advise on this matter as soon as possable. Thanks and happy Fling to all.

This should help.  All the programs you need, instructions and a pointer to how to find certain airports in the folder/files system within FSX.

If you run through the instructions in that link you`ll find you `drop` the file on the program, out comes the result from it into the selected folder.  So, left click on the file, drag it to the program icon til it hovers over it, then let go of the mouse button `drop the file`.

Do you have the MSXML 4.0 Parser installed?

If not, do a Google search and install it. This *might* fix your problem.
