Hi my computer meets the specifications of FSX fine and I was wondering why this could happen. I was playing FSX when suddenly I got this loud almost like stall tone coming out my speakers with my sim frozen. I tried everything to get FSX to quit but then lead me to pulling the plug. When Coming to reboot nothing greets me apart from an blue error screen something about a registry.

Me, as I am mostly on the computer recieved a not so nice telling off from my parents and had to some more chores. Next Morning we took it to a local computer store and then a couple of days later we recieved a phone call saying that we could pick it up with a fee of

There could be serveral reasons for this...

- Hardware related: Overheating, lack of power (PSU too weak).

- Software related: Old drivers.

The DVD drive replacement didn't make sense. FSX doesn't need the DVD in the drive to run, so your problem isn't related to that.

Try updating the drivers, if the problem persists, it's gotta be related to the hardware or to Windows.
