Help - I've got no arrow!!

On my FSX in flight I can't get the mouse pointer up at. When I am planning a flight etc. the mouse is visible. Everything else works fine! Its a new computer with Vista clean install. 2G of memory etc dual core.

I am nervous of doing a re-install of FSX

The memory is hazy, but try turning it to a standard mouse pointer with shadow turned off.......

And maybe it could be linked as well to the settings of your grahic card, like AA or AF set too high, stuff like that would not surprise me...
