Absolutely. Even with the expense of adding another gb of memory and a higher power graphics adapter and much tweaking of the .cfg file it's great. On my fairly ordinary PC FSX loads in about 20 seconds and I can sustain a frame rate of 20-28 fps. Can't wait for the SP from MS and the add-on package later this year!

Ah come on people. Just leave it alone. FSX is out now. Thats it. Its not going back to Microsoft for a redesign. It has great potential. For months this topic has raged on. Lets just drop it now.  ;)

I'm not even going to vote. This topic is as old as ancient Rome and has been asked, answered and reviewed every time a new version of FS is released. We all knew the potential downsides of the sim, yet we bought it anyways. It's what we do. Like An-225 said: leave it alone.
