F-15C Installation for FSX

Okay, I've tried to install this F-15C for FSX several times and I just do not understand.  http://www.simviation.com/fsxmilitary1.htm

I would appreciate it if someone could explain it in this post step by step at Kindergarten level.

First thing ....... that's a link to the members site so I've modified the link to the standard site so you'll get more input.

Now a question ...... have you downloaded the original aircraft? It does say it's required for the update.

1.)  Yes, I'm a member of the site

2.)  Yes, I've downloaded the original 2004 version of the aircraft.

My question is to you is, are you gonna help me install the aircraft in easy and understandable directions?

1. Unzip the original aircraft and both the updates into a working folder or onto your desktop.
2. Copy the panel folder, the airfile, the aircraft cfg and the texture from the update 1 folder into the original aircraft folder.
3. copy the gauges and effects from update 1 into the corresponding folders in FSX
4. copy the thumbnails from update 2 into the original aircraft folder
5. copy the updated original aircraft into the aircraft folder in FSX  (Microsoft FSX/SIMOBJECTS/AIRPLANES)

Fire up the sim and you should be good to go and Welcome to SIMV  ;D

I tried following the directions and again, I screwed up somewhere--is it possible to get your F-15C folder and zip it and send it to me?  :)

The one thing I never tried was putting the complete aircraft in FSX ...... I'll give it a go now ....and keep you posted.

OK ...... I've put the aircraft in FSX ..... it works apart from some texture issues and a lack of any panel.

What is the exact problem you are having?

It's not working at all--I tried following the directions but it doesn't work out for me.  Oh well.  I have over 60+ add on's so I'm not really that concerned about this particular F-15 version for FSX.

Is it showing up in the aircraft menu? If so, is it failing to load when you start the flight? If so are you getting any error messages?

It's not showing up at all--why not just zip the file and post it on the site so you don't have to go through a million steps in order to make it fly?

Can anyone please zip up the file and be willing to send it to me with all the proper aircraft, guages and effects files in place?  Thank you!

I figured out what was wrong! Haha.  It wasn't my fault, it was the www.simviation.com website, the link was bad.  GO ME!  ;D
