ok, when you get to the option to save the hurt guy, i can never get my plane high enough.

It takes a long time to get that high.  Just keep circling in the open space near the mountain you need to land on.  I bet I circled for a half hour.  Just be sure that you get plenty high; a couple more minutes spent circling is better than being in a hurry and not getting high enough and having to do it again.  Save the game once you reach altitude, that mountain is slick.

ahhh i hate this mission actually know thats a lie i really like it, just i have the same problem i cant usually get to the right altitude however i did get to it once but i didnt reach the medical camp i just slid right off the side of the mountain

Make sure your mixture is leaned to the optimum fuel / air mixture. If it isn't leaned properly, the engine won't have enough juice to get you high enough.

when i get to 12000, im usually going about 45mph, and it then starts slowly descending, with the nose pointing up... its irritating
