Questions

Postby Bruce5 » Thu Feb 01, 2007 6:00 pm

Is there any way to remove all completed missions, logs, etc., and start again?

Also, I have a problem in dropping to the given altitude on missions, say from 15,000ft to 12,000ft. How can I do this safely without nose-diving?

Thanks :)

I can't help with the first question
" . . .  the given altitude on missions, say from 15,000ft to 12,000ft".
Firstly, reduce power.
Mission are somewhat structured which makes many parameters unavailable.
The best thing to know about Missions is they can be Saved at any point and re-flown from that point.

for the fist question if you installed FSX into its default folder go into My Documents and open the folder called 'Flight Simulator X Files.' Then simpily delete logbook.bin

Deleting the Log book does not reset the mission, nor does it take away any badge, awards, etc.

My logbook became corrupt, so I renamed it, and started a fresh one.  I had zero hours with a 25 landings award.
