Virtual cockpit Dark

Hi, could anyone help me with cockpit lights please.

I flew a Baron twin last night on a night flight. I like cold and dark starts. I found that in virtual cockpit, there are no lights. The dash is completely dark.. (You can just see the instruments if you look hard)

The normal 2D cockpit is fine, the light switch works. But not the Virtual cockpit.

Can anyone shed any light please  ;)

It was the default beachcraft baron, I think. Had to use 2D cockpit to see anything

That's the way my FSX is . . . no lights in 3D panels (that's another reason why I've gone back to FS9).

Just tried my baron. Lights working in 2d and 3d. Have you installed anything from fs9? Cold and dark? Textures?
If so, dont do it. Maybe only the one from fsinsider.
Try and move and save fsx.cfg. Restart the sim, it'll then be at default settings. Have a look then. A start to solve your probs.
