DX10 isn't like DX9, which allows DX8 cards to run it, meaning DX10 will ONLY work on 100% Direct X 10 video cards.
No current cards can even run it, though, the ATI X2xxx and Nvidia 8xxx will support Direct X 10.
These come out next year.

Not even FSX team could do anything, they had to keep with an artist painting to show what DX10 could do to FSX, instead of a screenshot. DX10 yet ;)



actually... they have it and have had it for almost 2 months in engineering samples. They are just not allowed to release any media yet.

Really ? That's good news !
But I wonder, do you think the graphic cards manufacturers would have it yet or not ? Any chance they would be already working on some hardware ?
