i think it speeks for its self, and it looks like where dealing with a whole new engine. Because i half to admit and this is no exaguration it is beyond what i expected

I'm pretty sure we discussed this earlier, but I can't completely remember.  I believe that video is pretty old and is just a demonstration of some of the new things that could be in FSX, but it's not FSX itself.

I'm really sorry.  I think it is a look at what FSX will look like because it was a demonstration of the graphics engine if I'm not mistaken, so I would still expect many of those things to be in FSX.

It isnt FSX, or even related.  It is a commercial  aviation simulator that is used for training.  There is another thread  that I posted on earlier with the same clip.  Ms is aware of this company, but pointed out numerous things that FS does better.  One main point that they wanted to address was the weather.  MS wants better representation of weather from the stations, true 0/0 fog, better transition between stations, and overall improvement of display (ie framerates).  Todd

To add to what cavity said, it's a program called Tropos (or maybe Tropos is the company...something like that.)  MS mentioned things like a lot of the parts aren't animated etc.
