Missing route in flight planner display

Running FSX with Win 7. Have noticed that suddenly my flight planner no longer displays the red line marking the projected route between departure/arrival airports. It used to show up - also using Win 7 - but now does not. Makes it difficult to modify/edit flight route by inserting desired waypoints. Have recently installed Orbx Global Base program, but have had Orbx regional products installed for a few years. Not sure where the route indicator went. Anyone have some thoughts?

Hi Archive1,

May be a simple problem.
On the Flight Planning page select edit tab.

If route planner is on it should look like this....

If route planner is off it should look like this....

Hope this helps...simply toggle the 5th icon from the right hand side.

I hate to admit it but I had the same thing happen to me and it took me awhile to figure it out. But in my case I could not see the waypoints. Just make sure all of the icons on top of the planner are activated and hopefully your problem will be fixed.
