You might want to give this a try, please read the read me file included in the package to install. It is a FS2004 gauge but i have it working on some of my FSX aircraft.

Thank you, so which one should I install. Is there one better than the other? I also have RASS install, what should I do? Disable it?

Hi suden11, I have used both (or similar) and they both work fine and are both based on the same gauge. The one PhilFly posted"GPWS Callouts" will probably be simpler to install, the one i recommended "rcbgp 3.3" has a few more features (a actual visible gauge that you can enable/disable the sound). Maybe some trial and error, see which one you like better. As far as RASS is concerned I haven't used it so I can't say but I would think they would work together. Just make sure you follow the install instructions included in both of these callout gauges and you should do fine. <<s

Best of luck....Ken 8-)

One more thing guys, I ve install GPWS_callout. In the "read me" file, they explain how to install it but there's a file in the RAR file they don't talk about "GPWS_callout.xml" Where do I put this file? Does anybody know? Here's the "read me" file:

Installation:

1) Unzip all files in a temporary folder or on a USB key

2) copy Callout_Sound.dll in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\GAUGES\

3) copy CallOutB folder in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Sound\

4) copy GPWS.Cab if your aircraft panel subfolder

5) Open the panel.cfg file with Notepad (save a copy)

6) Create these 2 lines at the end of the the window00 section:

gaugexx=CALLOUT_SOUND!dsd_xml_sound3, 0,0,0,0, Sound\CALLOUTB\Sound.ini
gaugeyy=GPWS!GPWS_Callout, 0,0,20,20

eg:
gauge89=An12!Approach-Hold-Button, 902,307,25,18
gauge90=An12!NAVGPS, 447,403,32,48
gauge91=CALLOUT_SOUND!dsd_xml_sound3, 0,0,0,0, Sound\CALLOUTB\Sound.ini
gauge92=GPWS!GPWS_Callout, 0,0,20,20

7) Launch FSX and select the desired aircraft

iMPORTANT:
you must accept to use Callout_Sound.dll

There are actually 2 extra files in the zipfile:

GPWS_callout.xml & GPWS_Callout_BG.bmp

These files are the contents of GPWS.CAB which is an XML gauge. You can ignore them as I suspect they were included in the download by mistake.
