Hi & welcome ..

I presume you mean the virtuavia F-22 - there are several versions of this - can you please give us the file name of the one you are having problems with?

Have you tried the updated version on page 3 by Bob Chicilo http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1 ... &x=23&y=10 I downloaded it and once you have added the missing hud gauge to the panel it seems to work ok in fsx gold. The Hud does not always display when changing views F9/F10 but if you go back to 2D and back to VC it shows up properly.

Thank you to everyone... stupid me didn't even look on page 3. does anyone know how to activate the tiller for this game. and is there a addon to help with taxiing. just seems like I have to taxi at lower speeds like 7mph rather than 15 that's required. thank you.
p.s. the f-35 in the f11 view is missing a lot of its wings and fuselage.

would anyone have an idea of why just the insides of the iris f-35 is showing, and not the wings and fuselage.

Go to the FSX "Graphics" display settings and make sure the "Preview DirectX 10" box is un-checked.

Just tried it. The exterior model is not part of the VC. I imagine this was to keep the parts count down.
You wouldn't see much of the exterior from the normal seat view anyway.

I would strongly recommend you to forget about the IRIS F-35 which is quite an outdated model nowadays.
You should get the freeware version of the F-35 made by Dino Cattaneo. It's a package which includes the A, B and C variants. And yes, the B variant includes the VSTOL module for vertical takeoff and landings.
An older version (2.3) is available at Simviation here: http://simviation.com/1/browse-Military-57-34
Else, the newest version (2.41) is available directly from Dino's website: http://indiafoxtecho.blogspot.de/
(scroll down a little bit, the freeware download links are easy to find).

PS: make sure you read the manual to fly that bird. It will not work like the usual VTOL models out there, not at all. It has specific features and specific limitations that you have to take into consideration to control the plane ;)
