OK so i am using the Honeywell easy FMC by Garret someone, and every time I create a flight plan in FSX and start the flight I have to change the air speeds in the FMC from ground speed to IAS. It seems that the FSX flight planner uses ground speeds when generating the flight plan, and of course we dont flight on the ground so my plan wants to do 400+ at FL350. in order to fix this I have to manual change each entry in the FMC. I cant even leave one blank after setting speed on previous way-point cause the AP auto throttles to the next value and it will cut engine power.
Am I doing something wrong? I mean is their anyway to have the FSX flight planner use IAS instead of GS when generating the flight plan?
Its a real pain in the butt to have to change 5 pages of way-point speeds for one flight every time I want to fly with the FMC.
Now I know their are some purist out there that say this is how it is, and i respect that but sometimes I would like to just fly a route without having to change speed values all the time.
IS their a solution to this maybe an online planner that uses IAS instead of GS or some thing? Can someone help me out please?
