Hi Guys,
Not bad video on the startup and taxi, he just didn't turn off the A hydraulics systems, pushback tug driver would not start aircraft moving without that being off, ground crew have been killed before now when hydraulics have been left on.
The IRS alignment is much too fast compared to real time, in that sim it can prob can be set to be quick.
You wouldn't enter 146 in the AT IAS setting, you would add a margin such as +20knts.
He's said apu bleed to be ON, that's wrong it should be off for apu start otherwise a hot start error could occur plus you would do the fire sensor/alarm checks before starting the apu and do them again after apu start to check wheel well alarm, you would also have the engine bleed off otherwise fuel fumes can enter the aircraft, he'd also not turned on the ground power tho had requested it.
Before starting engines and moving flaps you would push throttle levers fully forward, this should give you a config error horn. ( somewhere on the internet there are pictures of an airbus where the crew tripped the power to the alarm, unfortunately it also shut off the brakes, they were at full power at the time and no flaps, the alarm was annoying them but it's there for a reason - it broke the airbus has it went through a concrete barrier and dropped some 15 - 20 ft, snapped the fuss)
In the video he prob had some spoiler deployed, You don't arm the spoiler/speed brake, you set RTO.
But overall a good guide and I wish my system was that smooth.
Am I nit picking? - yes

regards
Steve
