Postby stonedferret » Sat Jan 02, 2016 2:48 pm

 If it is possible could some one point out how to change the aircraft from cold on the apron to running with engines already running on start up. For the life of me i cannot figure this out.

Normally i can figure things out but this one eludes me. Thank you in advance for any help. :D :D :D

Select the aircraft/place etc you want -- even flying --
Say you're at the parking, whatever. Engine running.
Save flight.
Then you see a little box that allows this to be the default flight. Save. Done.

Thanks for replying.....I was meaning when you start a flight and the plane is cold-start-up required.
I'm looking to change the configuration so the flight starts with the plane engines running. :D :D

As Striker says. Save any flight and make it default and it will start that way. (stoned now? :D )

You can set up a default flight any way you want by just doing what the others have said.
These are the exact steps you need to do.
1) Start up FSX
2) Select your aircraft and Location
3) If you have selected a airport than you can choose where to place the aircraft at. By default it will be placed on the Active runway of any airport you select.
4) Set up the aircraft as to how you want it. Start the engines turn on the lights or any thing else you want.
5) Once you are satisfied save the flight and click on the box that says make default flight and give it a name.
Than any time you start FSX unless you use the flight planner it will put you in the aircraft you selected and at the airport you selected with everything the way you set it up.
It does not get any easier than this
