Fsx rewards

Postby Dave T » Mon Oct 19, 2015 4:42 am

Fsx rewards to complete them all will make you swear, pull your hair out, generally say that this mission is impossible, patience is the key and the only one I can't do is the redbull contract finished the course but can't do it under the time stated. Some of the missions are fun and some are extremely annoying like the landing heli on the yacht which constantly changes course just as you are about to land!!!
Anyway here are my rewards folder below, anyone else completed all of the rewards without swearing at the pc a few times? I did with a few pointers from fsxrewards.com which has vanished at the moment from the net.

Once you have completed the missions after a lot of time and cursing you will not want to lose your rewards so backup logbook.bin found in START/DOCUMENTS/FLIGHTSIMULATOR X FILES/Logbook.bin

and both granted rewards bin files found
START/username/appdata/roaming/microsoft/fsx/granted rewards.bin &
granted rewards old.bin
and put them in a safe place until you need them Dave. Note! you will need to have show hidden files enabled to see the files.

Congratulations on a job well done I never had the patience for any of these. If you want something else that I thought was really challenging is try doing the race around the world. I am not sure if they are still doing this. But this was crazy you had to fly aircraft that was only barely able to fly in to situations that we really far fetched. The one that I remembered was trying to land a good size single engine aircraft on a plateau in a field with fences and trees and not a whole lot of space in between the fences and trees. It took me about 15 tries just to land and another 15 or so trying to take off with out hitting the trees. I was about to destroy my system before I finally remembered a trick I had seen in the real world. I taxied to the end of the runway I than used the push-back mode to back the plane as far as I could I than slammed hard on the brakes and hit full throttle and waited until the plane was about to fall apart from the vibration to release the brakes I bounced twice and got airborne and just missed the tree. But I think the owl at the top of the tree had a heart attack
I should mention that the whole time you were flying you were being monitored so slewing or pausing was not allowed. When you sign up you have to download program that monitor's you while flying and if you cheat in any way the leg will not count.
But all in all it was a blast.
But like i said I am not sure if they are still doing this you had to belong to the correct virtual airline.
