Once again, it would be nice if you told us which aircraft you downloaded. It's really difficult to help you without more more info.

There is more than 1 727-200 -- several designers have made them and they will be different .....

Someone correct my if I am wrong on this, but I don't think most 727 models were equipped with an auto throttle. I think the co pilot managed the throttle at all times. Except for takeoff, and final approach, or at the Captains discretion....I think if you download any 727 panels that are close to the real thing you will find no autothrottle. Could be a private contractor, or a private 727, like the one used by the Playboy business could of had one installed but I do know American airlines 727's did not have them....

You are 100% correct Even a payware version of a B727 does not have a auto throttle and in the real world they were not equipped with them originally.
When I worked at KJAX I used to fuel a B727 that was being used by the USPS and I asked the pilot if it had a autothrottle and he said no it did not.He did say one could be put in but was a expensive option since it meant replacing a lot of different systems.

Some of the Super 27's were fitted with autothrottles I think. Go "WWW.Boeing-727.com" which is pretty definitive as to things 727.
