I don't know why, but lately the icon for my plane is disappearing on the map! I've been using this module for over ten years and I am stunned and don't know why this is happenning! Does anyone have a clue? <<t

I remember the same thing happened to me recently, and could find no reason for it...

..I must have fiddled with some settings, somewhere!

I just re-installed the program again, (already having the key code saved if necessary), and it cured the problem...whatever it was!

I do not use FSTRAMP but from what i have read I would bet that something in this program is the cause of your problem.
I use FSMAP it looks to be the same as FSTRAMP. The one big difference is I install maps for the areas that I normally go to and it will use those files to make the display. But in areas that i do not have a map for it uses my scenery files to display the image.
I suggest that you contact the support site and see what they have to say odds are it is a simple fix.

"FS Tramp" is the follow up to the wonderful "FS Navigator", (FS 2002/FS 2004), for FSX, by the same author!

I use the combination of FS Tramp (Registered version), and Plan-G (Free) for all my flights. A member of both program's Forums.

Each program has its own benefits!

I've noticed that re-booting FSX usually fixes the Problem...That said, I'm wondering if I've maxed out the 8 GIGS of Ram limit - despite the HIMEMFIX, or my Geforce GTX's 2 Gigs are maxed out, or my I-7 Processor is overwhelmed, or the Texture load is too great, or FSConnect is disconnecting, or the problem is with SS Drives and OS 7! :violin: I liked using Plan G on one computer, although I haven't gotten familiar enough with it nor able to network it with my other computers ! :violin:

As with all my payware programs, my trusty copy of "FS Navigator" installation program, together with its key code, is safely saved onto CD, ready for instant use with my copies of FS 2002 and FS 2004 running on my Hard Drive!

FS Nav, FS Tramp, and Plan-G, are the main reasons why I have firmly stuck to the various MS Flight Sims over the past 15+years!

Without them, I would have got totally lost without trace, many years ago!.... ... ...!

I use FSMAP and one one the things I like about it is it has TCAS system as well and it works a lot better than the default TCAS. I always get a kick out of ATC when they warn me about traffic by the time I look fo it it has all ready gone by me.So why bother telling me about it. The ATC in FSMAP is closer to the real world TCAS it warns you when a aircraft is within 10 NM of you and heading in your general direction which gives you more than enough time to react. 8-)
