Your problem may be as simple as installing the 2 service packs from that MS released for FSX.

I think everyone with the basic FSX (Not FSX Acceleration) should install these service packs.

That is the conclusion I came to. I'm waiting for shj92922 to confirm if he installed Acceleration which includes SP1 & 2.

Not everyone with FSX Gold installs Acceleration for various reasons.

Just to confirm my theory.

I installed SP1 to my Win7 laptop with no change to the 777 panel.

I then installed SP2 et voila!


PLEASE NOTE: If you have already installed Acceleration this is not necessary!

As I suspected. That explains it.

To fix your problem either install Acceleration or SP1 & SP2 from the links that Pete posted earlier. You must install SP1 first.
