Can't install FSX

Postby Jarrett13 » Fri Sep 26, 2014 2:51 pm

Hi this is Jarrett. I recently uninstalled fsx (was not running good) and now I cant install it. I have done this before and it worked but now it does not work. One time I tried and at the very end it said "Publishing Product Information" and I stopped it, then I tried again at the very beginning it says the same thing. I am on a Windows 8 computer and just got a virus off my computer. Anything would help.

Thanks

Have you tried running the reset tool
http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthrea ... ndows-7%29
When you reinstall make sure NOT TO USE DEFAULT LOCATION.
As I have stated in many posts FSX or FS works the best if installed on a hard rive that does not have your operating system on it.
I have both FSX and FS9 on my D drive
