Airport Design Editor

Postby pcarvalho » Sat Aug 30, 2014 8:30 am

Hi, i've been trying to modify some airports with ADE X and whenever I compile it to use it, if I put both files (___.blg and ___OBJ.bgl) together in the FSX > Addon Scenery > Scenery folder, what happens is that all terminal buildings disappear - My changes do happen but there are no terminal buildings. Although I've been told it shouldn't work, when I placed the ___OBJ.bgl file in the textures folder the terminals do appear, but the ATC tower is still no there, and this is a pettern which has been happening in all airports i've edited.
Someone told be to check if it could be the exclusion rectangles in ADE but i've checked and there are none. Anyone knows how to fix this?

In ADE go to settings/options/general and un-check the "Separate Airport and Object Bgl Files" box.

Now when you compile your airport you'll only get a single bgl. file. Place that file in your FSX/Addon Scenery/Scenery folder. (Or whatever folder you use for your add on sceneries :D)

I know this setting and it was actually set to only create 1 bgl file. I changed it because before, by having only one bgl file I would have the same problem and I though maybe it would fix it. So thanks for the help but it doesn`t work... Any other ideas?
