take off speed is at 60 mph

hello to all:

I just downloaded the malaysia 777 helicopia freedom. on a 15,000 ft runway when i take off the speed is at 60 mph any ideas how do i change the speed or maybe lighting the load? all my other 777 take off at 170 or 180 mph. 60mph in the air is more than a stall point its a point of no return speed, sink like a rock speed. makeing the plane into a jigsaw puzzle speed if it was in the air.

as I roll down the runway watching that take off speed of at least 160 mph but any way my take off speed was 60 mph. oh I took off eventually another mile or so hitting houses and trees but yeah I took off. is there a way to change the speed or anything.

hello to all:

I got the malaysia 777 helicopia freedom working its takeing off now. what I did was in the elevator effectiveness it was set to 1.00 and changed it to 1.60 and it takes off now. I got that number 1.60 from one of my other b777 plane folder. I knew that one takes off ok and I just ( took that number 1.60 and apply that to the malaysia freedom plane and thats it) compare the 2 folders and make corrections as needed.

what happens if I increase that number to 1.75?; faster lift off?

Hi bomb,
Here's something you may wish to investigate. I've been looking into the correct contact point settings. I wanted to find out how (in the aircraft.cfg) the contact point and the static pitch values interact. With the aircraft parked and empty I was able to make substantial changes to the static pitch and there was no difference in the pitch of the aircraft when in spot view. Adjusting the wheel contact points made big differences. I suspect the static pitch setting comes into play as lift is produced. In your situation if the static pitch setting was too positive this might cause the problem you're experiencing.
I've seen many posts regarding excessive control inputs required while taking off. The term static may be hiding the true nature of its effect.
I hope you can figure out what I'm trying to say.

hello there jandjfrench:

yeah I saw the static pitch in the aircraft cfg but completely ignore that because I'm thinking "ok I want to take off so adjust the elevator pitch and or effectiveness same thing I guess in this aircraft cfg its the elevator effectiveness. I have seen this both cases. but I do see static pitch all the time but did not bother looking at it until you said something. now I will look in to that and have a looksee at it.
