Hi Cronic,
It's not so much incorrect as it's simply one name that works. It appears that any sequence of letters followed by a period preceding the GUID works.

Hi,
Regarding creating a shortcut to the FSX.cfg on the desktop:
I use Rocket Dock which is invisible until the cursor is moved to the side of the screen where it's located and created a shortcut to the APP data folder where FSX.cfg is. Easy access to Controls, scenery and camera.cfgs etc. And the desktop is not cluttered.
