FSX Problems

Any one help ? My FSX has developed a couple of niggles.

1 When I exit the flight in full screen, I get a black screen only and I have to click Ctrl+Alt+delete
and then cancel to get back to the FSX home screen. If I exit flight in small screen, no problem.

2 The wheels running on grass effects are now very black ?

Are you running another add-on program (GPS maps, etc) in conjunction with FSX, that requires running FSX in "Windowed Mode"?

Some add-on programs insist in running in "Windowed Mode", rather than full screen.

I mostly run FSX in "Windowed Mode" for reliability!

Thanks for your suggestion, no that is not the problem I have tried system restore
deleting resent FSX add ons etc. ??

Fozz, that reminds me that I can only get my FSX or FS9 to work properly in windowed mode on my Win 8.1 system. It doesn't matter tho, I just expand the window to almost full screen. If I have it in full screen mode, the airplanes don't show up when I start the program. I also get lots of niggly little things happen. Like I said, I just run in windowed mode and expand.

Hi TUCANTO, show your pc stats, especially what graphics card are you using, You can get more help that way.

PS: as far as the grass problem, like Fozzer said, if you added something it might have changed a texture or effect.

always remember to back up any files you change in FSX.

Thanks to all, the effects problem solved, not sure how may have done it, with
another aircraft download.
Still getting the not return to home screen when exiting flight on full screen.
I have a Radeon 6900 Graphics card with latest driver (Windows 7 )
