L-39 nose gear problem

Postby jphespe » Tue Mar 11, 2014 3:25 pm

Just downloaded the latest L-39 Trainer package and the nose gear is stuck at 90 degrees right position. Anyone know how to correct this?

Thanks for the help,

the L-39 nose gear is NOT steerable.
you use differential brakeing until above 40 knots where rudder starts to have effect.
this is how the real aircraft works.

I have the Lotus sim L-39 (payware) and thats from the manual.

No problem, except that the physical position of the nosewheel is 90 degrees from the centerline. How do I get the nosewheel to align with the centerline of the aircraft?

its a caster, it should straighted out when you move forward.
if not then there may be a problem after all
but I dont know what would cause it

Me either but it stays in that position. Gotta be something in the cfg file but I don't know where to look.

Make sure you install the gauge named L39set.CAB.
