NO SOUND ON LANCAIR G-1000 FOR FSX BY MARK ROOKS

I just downloaded and installed the Lancair G-1000 posted by Mark Rooks on my FSX ACC and do not have any sound?? Can any one help me or tell me how to make this one work? Thank you. Mike

The volume seems a little low, but it's there. Check the sound folder and make sure it has sound files and the "sound.cfg" file.

They are all there. In fact I have "clicked" on the individual "wav" files and have gotten them to play individually. Any other thoughts?? Thanks Mike

Check your aircraft.cfg.
If your sound folder is called "sound", the .cfg should read "sound=", and nothing more after =.

"MY BAD"!! The default of the aircraft was "sound off"!! All I had to do was turn it on.

It's worth mentioning that if you are ever missing sounds -- just copy them in from another appropriate aircraft. Easiest fix in FSX

after I READ your post - I actually went and downloaded that plane and looked at the CFG file to see if the sound was aliased to another aircraft, wasn't I didn't see anything wrong within the CFG file, then I forgot to get back with you,,,, been downloading scenery lately, a lotta scenery for my sim

think I'm downloaded drunk now !
