OK I also think they are safe (my system is fine after installing a couple and showing no alerts) (after all they got good download numbers and I usually hear pretty quickly if there is a problem with a file)

I will re-list them.

Thank you for replying. I'm sorry for any inconvenience. While I did think they were likely safe (like stated earlier, I had nothing strange happening to my PC), I couldn't be 100% sure after Malwarebytes picked them up.

I will contact malwarebytes to let them know about the problem.

EDIT:
I just sent in a report of the problem to Malwarebytes. I included a link to this thread. I will report back as soon as I hear from them.

I got a reply from MB and followed their instructions for a new scan in developer mode. Update to lasted.
The four files were again flagged, so I sent MB the log of the scan and uploaded the four files to them for their inspection.

I will let you know what the say when I hear back from them. But again, I fully believe these are just a false positive and MB does state in their reply to me that it can happen and the reason they want the files and log is to correct it, if the files are indeed safe. I have no reason to believe they are not safe, since only the .rar files are picked up and the 'installed' files which are in my FSX. My registery and everything else is clean, that means the install of these missions did NOT put anything on my system. I feel sure MB will report back to me saying these files are clean and they will fix the problem on their end.

Here is the reply from Tom Mercado at Malwarebytes;
"This has been confirmed as a false\positive and corrected in the next update which should be released in the next few hours. Update at that time and rescan the system to confirm."

So, I did as instructed and after the update MB did not find anything wrong with the files. They are and always have been clean.

Sorry, I was in a hurry when I typed this and my typing sucks to begin with. The line should have read with the added 'were not' at the end of the sentence.

And, while I am here I want to again say I'm sorry for the inconvenience I caused :oops:
I guess the correct thing to have done would have been to contact MB first before posting anything here.

I'd much rather hear about concerns.

The worst thing is when people suffer in silence and DON'T tell you about what is wrong so you can fix it.

The feedback is much appreciated and it was interesting to see this. (& your typing could not be worse than mine with my clumsy fingers .. :lol: )

Thanks!! <<r
