Install help

Postby bucaneer » Sat Dec 21, 2013 12:33 pm

Hi folks,

Have managed to get in a bit of a mess trying to uninstall/install FSX Gold Edition and looking for a fix.

After uninstall today I tried to install fresh copy but ran into a major problem in that when I got to the installation of the Acceleration disk
prompt for installing the product, It was suddenly aborted and a request that I use an English copy of the set up disk, and there ended my efforts
after fruitless attempts. Totally frustrating as I have re-installed without any problems in the past.

One other thing I did notice while initiating the install of disk 1 was that the options presented were for repair of last install, or removal = saved data as well.

Appreciate any help, as of right now I am stumped, especially the unusual request for an English version of Acceleration.

Thanks.

Did you run the FSX reset tool after uninstalling.
