CH Eclipse Yoke problem (cannot open its body)

Hello, OldAirmail and everybody else,
I have tried changing the springs in my yoke for rubber bands (following the instructions of your attached pictures); I had to stop the job, because I COULD NOT OPEN THE YOKE´S CASE: it has five deep holes with screws deeply sunk in them. I have unbolt the screws (I think), but cannot open the body to change springs. Maybe a question of screwdriver (or worker skills)? Or maybe is there a secret trick for opening the case?
Could anybody explain me what is the jagged wheel in the front of the body for?
I wait for your expert and kind advice.

The screws holding the base halves together bite into the internal plastic posts VERY tightly. You'll need a #1 Philips screwdriver that is in VERY good shape. Brand new would be better.

Watch these 2 videos again. They'll show you where the screws are.

Put the body, top down on a few towels to cushion it, and to keep it from sliding around. Press down really hard with the screwdriver against the screw as you turn it.

Whatever you do, DON'T strip the head of the screw out! If you feel the screwdriver slipping over the screw head then you're using the wrong screwdriver, or the screwdriver tip is bad and may strip out the screw head.

When you're done and ready to putt it back together, put a little white grease (or oil at the very least) on the screw threads.

BTW - don't get carried away and take the yoke grips apart.

Its always worth remembering that there are two types of Cross-headed screws that appear very similar, but both require different screwdriver heads, to fit correctly!...>>>
