Postby LE129 » Mon Nov 18, 2013 2:26 am

Folks,
Searched this site for a Virtavia B-29 thread......came up with a zero! Anyone know how to cotact or if there is a Virtavia Forum out there to contact the Modelers of Virtavia?!?!?...........I'm looking for a way to get in contact with them as I want to try to talk them into a B-50 update for the B-29. The B-50 was an awsome machine....faster, wing tanks, with greater range than the B-29...........any help out there???

Hello,

whilst it is correct to say the engines and some other external features would need to be changed, the sad fact is that the cockpit is massively different and this would prevent us from considering this request. Most of the internal structure is changed in the B-50, there are even overhead panels like you see in airliner and the engineer's station is very different, even the seats are a special type. It is also not certain that the technical information needed to construct a model of the cockpit even exists, at least not to the extent that it does for the B-29.

Regards,

Phil,
