Just completed first flight ( MCI-PHX ) without any problems from Windows 7. Think I have it all set now. Using all default settings with only a few changes. My default settings are all on ultra high. Graphics- Only changed the FPS target from 20 to 35fps. Aircraft-ultra high no changes. Scenery- ultra high with one change to water effects-Low 2x. Weather- ultra high. Traffic- Custom, Airline traffic density-80% road traffic density- 55% ships-55% and leisure boats 40%. Realism and general settings are default. System = I 3570K oc to 3.9 Graphics card is PowerColor (AMD) 7870 2GB MHZ Edition. 16gbs of ram at 1866mhz( corsair xms3) 2tb seagate baracuda hdd gigabyte ga z77 HD3 mobo 800w psu liquid cooling for cpu ( corsair hydro h60 with dual fan setup 120mm) and 3 120mm fans. Temps stay at 20c throughout flight and can maintain 35fps at all times. Just wanted to know if this is a good reading for both temps and fps.

Are you using FSWC? If you are, the best looking setting is med 2x and above for your water.

But, I do think that all the rest sounds sounds really good, especially your temps. Mine usually runs in the upper 30s on air-cool when FSX is running and I have the same drive, a 2TB Barracuda. Brand spankin' new as a matter of fact.

My graphics usually runs about the same temps, but it's a little 'dated', and I sorta wish it'd croak so I can petition the finance manager (a.k.a. wife) for a new 'modern' one!
