Jumpy AC at some airports, sitting or moving

Postby stephan » Mon Nov 26, 2012 5:29 pm

I cant seem to figure why SOME of my ac do a short series of jumps or bucking when I CHANGE VIEWS.Doesnt matter if Im taxi'n or sitting at a gate with a dark cockpit. What causes this.Better yet,how can I prevent this?  :-/

This is because of errors in what are known as the "contact points" in the aircraft's design files.

Did you find the answer, Stephan?  I'd be keen to know how to fix this too! :)

[quote]No gents.Haven't found a solution to it.Quit flying it (737-200 if I'm not mistaken/and a couple more). And I too find its only a couple ac and airports that cause this.On my FS9,when I taxi per ATC from the refuelling pumps to Rwy 6R,about half way to the runway on the main taxiway its as if I hit a huge crack. The ac jumps and the tires smoke. This happens to all ac.I have looked at the layout with AFCAD to see if theres a small break in the rwy connection or overlap and I see nothing.I CAN overlook these things, but it DOES detract from the quiet pleasure I get setting alone at the controls and then some weirdness takes place.Being Irish,Scot and Native American,I tend to let little things set me off,and I go from 0 to 60 in a heartbeat.Too bad I dont have some ac that were that fast!If I figure a solution to any of these problems I will jump in here and let y'all know.I'll get at it again tomorrow sometime.//stephan /'Altitude With Attitude!'
