Cant figure out why most of my AC taxi lights have shifted to left between 5 to 10 degrees.When reassigning my keys I was sure NOT to create conflict.Never had problem till about a month ago (Oct).Cant figure what caused the shift,or how to correct.Help !!! Stephancorley@yahoo.com  :-/

Thanks for the warning and concern.I'm pretty ignorant about the Net to be honest.Also,more trusting than I guess one should be.BUT,no one can get much on me or about me because I do NO dealings on the net concerning my personal data.No credit cards,no banking data or even my home address.Besides...I shoot first,n ask questions later.Thanks again. 8-)

Stephan, are you referring to landing lights? I only have FSX installed at present but, as I recall like FSX, FS2004 has controls for tilting and turning landing lights. Maybe you inadvertently shifted the lights in your saved default flight which would then carryover to other created flights.

Check the control assignments. In FSX (ctrl+shift+Num5) centers the landing lights.

If your problem is indeed with taxi lights only, and they don't respond to the landing light controls,  then I don't have a clue...

I do appreciate the concern regarding my use of my email address.Will take advice.But,to the issue at hand;it is a taxi light issue.Never thought bout saving the defauld value.Will investigate that possibility.Sure envy you folks with FSX.I bought it 2 years ago,n cant fly it without overtaxing my system.I have a Dell Demension2400 with 1 gig ram,and a Radeon 9250 video card.Doesnt appear to be enough to fly FSX to my satisfaction.The jerking during banking and so on drove me nuts so I stayed with FS9.Hopefully I'll get a system setup for FSX.Appears to be a great sim.Thanx folks. ..........................
             Well,I'm back.Tried something.I started FS9 up,created a flight witha new craft rather than starting with the default flight,set the time to night and checked my taxi light.Nope...still off to the leftbout 7 degrees or more.Thanx anyway.Was a good thought anyway.Appreciate ANY input from fellow simmers who take the time to try n help.

Have you checked the control assignments as suggested above?  You do know there are keys that shift the light left and right, and perhaps to center it?  You might have made an error in your reassignments, or forgot which new key you used for a certain thing and pressed one of the landing light controls instead.

I knew the landing lights could be shifted via the numeric keypad,but have seen nothing where I could modify the taxi light.Guess I may have to live with it for the time being.No real big issue.I just like my stuff to be right.All things in their own time.Thanx a bunch simmers!Appreciate yur time and input.
