world.cab

Postby meanmino » Sun Oct 07, 2012 9:44 am

Hi,

I've been trying to install my FS2004 but every time i restart the setup, once it gets to copying 'world.cab', it says that there's an error. I've done it many time. I was hoping someone could open their world.cab file (Program Files/Microsoft games/Scenery/world.cab) in Notepad and copy and paste everything in it as a response so i can copy and paste it into mine.

Thanks!

I don't have a "scenery/world.cab" in my FS9. I did search.

There is in my FS 2004...

C/Programs Files/Microsoft Games/FS 2004/Scenery/World (Folder).

Its part of the original installation.

out of curiosity i thought I'd check: I don't have it in my world folder neither is it in the scenery or texture folder within the world folder.

strange but true

The world.cab file is probably only on the original CD's, and contains files that are extracted to your FS installation.
