Aircraft control perfection

Postby RichD » Mon Oct 08, 2012 10:45 am

Hi all,
For years I have been chasing that perfect way to control the aircraft that I am flying at the time.

If you find yourself falling off a cliff, you might as well try to fly.......What have you got to lose?

Wow!  So did I.  "Must be jelly, 'cause jam doesn't shake like that!"  I vaguely remember tipping her about twenty... :D

(Psst!  He meant "Eurica" moment)

Oh....  Never mind. :P

Humor.  *smile*.

Nice tip, however.  ;)

I've often made the kind of changes to the [flight_tuning] section of the aircraft.cfg file that RichD made. I've found that many of the airplanes I download are way too touchy on the controls, and reducing control sensitivity makes them more realistic. That also applies to elevator trim sensitivity.

Glad I'm not the only one to do this Art.  You got to be careful with the trim though, otherwise you can lose it just when you need it,  :-[
