Re-locating airports

So I got UT USA running all nice now...first I noticed a few things: 1) streams and even ponds at some airfields are now cutting through the airport (awkward to see) 2) some roads are  also cutting through airports.

So my question is, is there a way to MOVE an airport without screwing up the terrain further? I have AFCAD but that only seems to edit the airport.

On the left, the UT USA Plainwell Municipal, on the right, Google Earth shot of Plainwell Municipal. This airport is located in Plainwell, MI. A major freeway (US 131) runs immediately off the west end of the paved runway, on the east end of the paved runway are high powerlines. A pair of guys flew down to this airport last year and on final for runway 090 the 2nd one clipped a FedEx semi trailer traveling north on US131. His plane promptly flipped over and burned. Sadly, he was killed instantly. With that said, local plane rental services will refuse rentals if the customer says they will be flying into this airport for the above reasons. However, it has a wonderful fly-in dinner.

Anyways, I would really like to make this field properly displayed.

NOTE the red cross hairs on the left are roughly where the west end of the runway SHOULD be.

I suspect that some roads actually pass underneath the runways...

Leed-Bradford Airfield in England, being a classic example....(and I've got an idea that Van Nuys airfield (California) is the same).

Note: Always observe the Stop Sign at the junction of the road and runway, and always give way to approaching Vee-Hic-You-Lar Traffic.... ;)...

California Highway Patrol are not best pleased at Aeroplanes jumping the Traffic Lights....

...trust me!... ;)...!

Paul...UT USA....My case comes up next week!...I'm pleading; "Insanity"... :'(...!

... ;D...!

AFAIK you can move an entire airport using ADE with the ProKey ($15).

Even the underlying, thrice damned, always in the way when you need it to disappear when you remove a whole airport, polygon? :-?

If so it might be worth the ticket, since it's not particularly expensive. :-/

If I can jump in before Adam gets here, Apex...

Ultimate Terrain USA (and Canada) is one of the best bits of Scenery enhancement for my FS 2004, (even better than the/my FSX version).

Together with VOZ 1.8 (free for DS 2004), it makes all the scenery much
