"Cold Cockpit"

Hi guys!
Is there any way in FS9 to setup a default "Cold Start" or "Cold Cockpit" It would be cool not to have to hit the Sft-L,Sft-M And so on.

Without any kind of add-on, it suffice you shut off everything (make the cockpit cold and dark yourself) then save the flight as your default one.

Opening FS next, you'll find your cockpit cold and dark again.

That puts you at the location, and the aircraft, etc, where you were when you saved the flight.

I think the idea of the "Cold and Dark Cockpit" file was to start you off on the Main Flight Sim Menu when firing up the Sim...Cold and Dark, and "Create a flight" from the beginning.

If I can remember that far back, we were at Meigs Airfield, cold and dark, when we first fired up the Sim, and that became the default, before we started saving our flights.

Creating your own "Cold & Dark" situation & saving it as the default flight would do exactly the same thing.

Every flight you start from anywhere after having done that will be Cold & Dark.

And I know it because I DID IT.

..so its automatically cold and dark, as I look outside, when I fire up FS 2004 first thing in the morning... ...!
So I pop over to Sunny California, where its always warm and bright...(for me!)... ...!
