FS 2004 File locations on the Installation CD's...

For some strange reason.... ::)...

(I'm always fiddlin' around with my FS Panel studio)... :-[...

I appeared to have lost the Gauges .cab file in my default Beech Baron 58; and as many of the the FS 2004 aircraft use gauges from that Cab File, it affected some of my Aircraft, eg; incorrect readings, missing needle animations, etc... :'(...!

Fortunately, I had a copy in my Beech Baron TC folder, so I copied it over to the Default Beech Baron 58 file...sorted... :-*...!

Anyway... ;)...

Does anyone remember the useful list of various locations in the FS 2004 Installation CD where these files can be found, to re-install/re-insert them again in the FS 2004 Folder (which avoids a complete re-installation of the Flight Sim)?

Paul... :)...!

...what's the betting I lose the Floppy Disk now?
Is this the age thing, again, Foz?
My dad had a slipped disc problem (a bit too floppy); lost a few on the operating table...
losing them can be more than just a pain in the back; suggest you hold onto them.

;)

.... ;D...!

I love my Floppy Disks!.. :-*...!

With every Computer I build, I always install a Floppy drive in the Case.
I find them invaluable for storing small files, with each Disk having a description of its contents.
It saves searching through spare CD's, DVD's, and spare Hard Drives for a small, obscure, important file... ;)...!

Hi, Joe!
Your reply to this posting and a reference to http://www.cat-tamer.com/flightsim/faq001.html is a very useful guidence for simmers like me, I hope, who do not have enough knowledge on how to repair damaged gauges etc. Thanks a lot.
