Go to the start menu, and in the little box at the bottom of the start menu type:
dxdiagPress Enter, and then you may receieve a message about confirming that you want to run the DirectX Diagnostic Tool. Allow it. Give it a minute and you'll get a box up on the screen. It will list all the information on your computer (manufacturer, hardware installed, etc)
hhomebrewer is interested in the following details:
Processor (on the 'system' tab)
Memory (also on 'system' tab)
Device (on 'display' tab, copy the name, manufacturer and chip type. Chip Type and Name may be the same though)
Finding out the speed of the memory installed requires other procedures, but it shouldn't have a major impact on the results from the rest of this information nor the problem at hand.
Futhermore: Are you running on a laptop or a desktop computer? And do you have any other addons running (traffic, scenery addons, etc)?
Could you also list the names of the Iris aircraft you're using when the problem occurs? Just to check that it's not an inherent problem with the addon aeroplanes you're using.
What sort of a freeze occurs? Does the game just freeze, or does your mouse cursor freeze? Or does the entire game crash down to the desktop?
Sorry for the 20 questions, but if you could answer them as best as you can, it could help to resolve the problem.
