Just downloaded this aircraft. It looks nice. Problem is, it won't move! It starts fine, I release the parking brakes, engage the throttles and the engines spool up but the aircraft just sits there. Any ideas?

Did you download it from Simviation? Any chance of a link to the page the file is posted on?

He probably means this
http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1 ... p&x=16&y=8I gave away my FS2004 to a member here several PC's ago so I can't test it. PAD are normally 100% OK.

I just downloaded and installed
mu2lZNS9.zip from their site - no issues at all on my FS2004 setup. She flies rather well!
There are several versions available - which one did you download?
And are you sure you downloaded the FS2004 version and not the FSX version by mistake?

This doesn't make sense at all. I've been corresponding with Bob from PAD and this is the first time he's heard this problem (thanks, Bob for being accessible). I'll double check but I'm pretty certain I downloaded the FS2004 version. I have no issues extracting the files to the FS9 folder and I have no problems selecting the aircraft on the main FS9 screen. The plane looks fantastic.
Just to double check, how are you guys extracting the files to FS9? I do exactly what the README file says to do, but I thought I'd double-check anyway.
I'm set up to start cold and dark every time, so that's my default setting.
Here's my start-up sequence in the Marquis:
1) Battery on, avionics on, fuel pumps on
2) Condition levers set to start/taxi position
3) Push right yellow button until right engine starts
4) Push left yellow button until left engine starts
5) Parking brake off
6) Push throttle levers forward
The engine spools to 100% with throttles full forward but the airplane will not move. When I push SHIFT + P, the plane will push back.
Other aircraft work fine.
I do use a logitech joystick that has a single throttle lever. I set it up using FSUIPC and it seems to work fine, but perhaps there could be something I set up wrong?
I'm at a loss here. :-/

I downloaded both the SinV & the PAD versions & had no trouble. However, after reading your start up settings, I found no condition levers on their panel. Just about all turbo-props start in a feathered position, hence no go. Where did you get your panel or did you modify it?

Dave,
I'm used to flying the 1900D, which has 3 sets of levers (throttle, prop, condition). I realize the mu-2 has only 2 sets (throttle and condition only). It is my understanding that the mu-2 controls prop setting "automatically". Please correct me if I am wrong.
So, by condition levers I am referring to the levers on the right, which I assume work the same as the levers on the Beech 1900 (by essentially controlling the amount of fuel). I set those levers to the first white line above the red area (which the reader document says to set it to for start and taxi).
Does this sound correct?
