Navigation Log Concerns

Postby flipside » Sun Jan 30, 2011 6:30 am

I have two hard drives on my computer. The operating system and everything is on the first drive (C) and Flight Simulator is on the second drive (F). When I finish a flight and wish to print the navigation log the print dialog screen appears. I print the log and then the screen is black. I can end the flight and the screen remains black. If I close the Flight Simulator with the menu on the bottom I do not get the flight log dialog screen. The program just closes. Is there a way to fix this?

I had a similar problem, when exiting FS9 there would be a black screen with no logbook;  culprit was the FSAA mode setting.  A workaround was to hit CNTRL+ALT+DEL when I got the black screen, then cancel the menu screen that appeared;  I would then be at the logbook screen.

I will give that a try. It would be swell if it worked. Now I will have to figure out a short flight to try it out.

It did not work. Instead, I got an error report dialog box. I sent the error report to Microsoft. Perhaps they will send a fix for my problem.
