I cannot locate the fs9.cfg file through my own browsing or file search.

i had to reinstall FS9 using an ISO image mount because of problems with my disc 4.

only add-on's installed @ this time are ult terrain, ground environment, REX, shockwave lights, carenado 210.

i've used all of these in the past with no problems except REX. I just purchased that to replace flight environment so I'm not sure if that has anything to do w/ the cfg file.

And i've been getting directx errors w/ REX.

Any idea what's going on w/ the fs9.cfg file?

In Windows 2000/XP:

* :\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Microsoft\FS9\FS9.CFG

I don't use Vista or 7, but this is what I was told of it's location for these OS's:

* :\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FS9

(Your Windows system drive refers to whatever drive Windows is installed on...usually but not always the "C:" drive.)

Thank you, that helped me find it.

The path for me in Win7 was C:\users\name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FS9\fs9.cfg
