What must I do to make the oil pressure warning lights go off on an aftermarket panel I installed on a DeHavilland C7 Caribou?

1/2 a Gallon of Shell Oil should do the trick nicely... ;)...!

It sounds to me like the gauge you are using is not intended for the aircraft you have it in.
If you have a gauge editor you can adjust it other wise I would suggest you replace the gauge or replace the panel or do not worry about it.  8-)

Replacing the panel is just what I am going to do when I find a panel that I believe will work.

[Bulb on the fuel guage is flashing]
Kowalski: Skipper, look.
Skipper: Analysis
Kowalski: It looks like a small incandescent bulb, designed to indicate something out of the ordinary, like a malfunction.
Skipper: I find it pretty and somewhat hypnotic.
Kowalski: That too, sir.
Skipper: Right. Rico, maunal!
[Catches the manual and smashes the bulb with it]
Skipper: Problemo solved.
