Night flying in blackout...?

Postby gypsymoth » Sat Oct 09, 2010 2:46 pm

I want to fly at night in a complete war-time blackout.  If I remove to a safe folder all the 'im' textures, will this do what I want?   The only light I want to see is moonlight.  I'd appreciate any tips/hints about this - I note that the white ground areas are bright white at night, eg.
Thanks.   ::)

How about just setting your weather so you're flying in the clouds at night? That should keep it dark outside.

Hi Dave.  I just want to fly at night with no ground or building lights whatsoever.  I remove the 'im' files of  objects I place,
but I want a totally all-over blacked out countryside to fly over.

The "Blackouts" bring back painful memories of my 1940's War-time experience in London...

..scary!...

I can just remember my grandmother asking for the blackout curtains to be drawn.

I'm removed as many lm files as I can find & a few Ted Andrews control towers are now black but the world in general is still lit up...... ::)
