Hi guys and girls,

I have had a browse around the forums and cannot find an answer to my problem

I used to use FS2004 on my pc with no problem, but since having a major cleanup of my computer, i re-installed the game and now i come across the follwing when trying to play it.....

''The version of FS2004 detected is not compatible with the version of FSUIPC!''

Any help on what this means would be great

Thanks, Chris.

More than likely it means exactly what it says.

Likely some addon has installed an older version of FSUIPC without you being aware of it.

You can get the latest FSUIPC (for FS2004) here:

http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html

You do not need to purchase the utility - get the free version for now and later on you may decide to purchase it to unlock the many features it has.

Be SURE you get the FS2004 version - it is part way down the page which will display.

Hope that helps.

it may also be a conflict with not doing the fs9 update or even having done it.

Please provide a link to the file in question that you downloaded.

Assuming it is a freeware offering, one of us can then check it out and see if we have the same issue and/or offer advice.

If it is payware, then I suggest contacting the author.
