Strange... ::)....

...It runs a treat in Win XP Pro!.... :)...!

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004...FS Nav...REX...GE Pro...VOZ 1.8.... 8-)...!

The more I read about compatibility issues with Windows 7 and various Software programs, "Games", etc, the more reluctant I am to "convert?" to it!.... :o...!

A quick question... In what directory is your FS9 installed? Mine is in the default C:/Program Files/Microsoft

Do you know what... :o....

I thought Windows 7 was supposed to cure any problem Users were having with Windows Vista... ::)....

....instead...it seems to have created a new set of problems to confuse the unwary User!.... :'(....!

I think if I was going to "purchase" a new computer to run all my many existing programs, I would have to insist that it had Windows XP Pro Sp 2 installed at its heart!.... ;)....!

Paul..G-BPLF..Win XP Pro SP2.... FS 2004....and no problems... :-*...!

:)

I still insist on using Windows XP SP3! I might upgrade to 7 eventually, but XP is really stable for me, and works fine with everything so far!

Do you ever wonder if M$ is regretting making XP?  ;D

I'll switch to something else, when they finally find a way to erase XP from my system without me being able to stop it. ;)

I think just about every problem that is experienced with Vista & 7 comes from the UAC.  Worst piece of software ever made.

Windows 8 is going to be XP repackaged.  8-)

By the time MS makes another OS, or stabilizes 7 more, Aerosoft or Cascade will have a new Flight Sim out with Mac compatibility. Bye-bye MS!
;D

In 7 it's way easier to turn UAC off, just a setting in the admin section I think...

I am on Vista for a few days, hating it  >:(

I love Windows 7, it took a couple of days to get used to and work out the quirks. But now I can't go back to XP. I need Direct X 10, Direct X 11, and the UI is just soooo pretty.

I'm warming up to Windows 7, too. I haven't dug into it too deeply, but I'm sure it's everything XP was and more. I'm still using it like XP. I never had a Vista machine, so I can't compare Vista to 7. I do love the Snipping Tool. Makes taking a screenshot (of anything) very easy...
