The ProjectFokker100/70 has gone through 3 versions/updates.

What I normally do is run through all the common commands for animations. Airbrakes, tailhook, water rudders, Concorde nose angle etc. I'm usually able to find the correct command that way.

Thanks Groundbound1, I tried that, no luck.

Just downloaded to try it. You're talking about having the side covers of the engine nacelles open right?

If so, exit two still does it on mine. (Shift+E+2)

Is that v.2 or v.3?  V.2 worked like that but v.3 doesn't unless I've got things all screwed up somehow.

It's V.2 upgraded to V.3. I went here and got all three, and installed them in order. Seems to work ok. In fact, V.3 doesn't change the model's .air, aircraft.cfg, or .mdl files, so no animation commands should have changed at all. :-/

Try this, make a backup your FS9.cfg, then delete the original, allowing the sim to make a new one. (This can be a pain in the butt, because it will undo any custom control settings or config tweaks you may have made) Then try it again.

I've had a few instances of my sim dropping some control settings spontaneously out of the blue. If that's what you're dealing with, this should fix it.

Thanks a lot Groundbound1, I'll try that!  I've had a feeling that something like you describe has happened.

Again, deleting the FS9.cfg can be a pain, because you'll need to redo any personalized settings or changes you've made, but sometimes it's the easiest way to solve issues like these.

Let me know how you make out.

Okay I solved the problem.  It was not the fs9.cfg file, but following your suggestion about generating a new cfg file led me to the solution.  I had changed my assignments for keys SHIFT+2 - SHIFT+ 9 to just plain 2-9 so this fouled up the SHIFT+E+2 assignment.  I reassigned it to the comma key and voila, the F100 engine cowlings open again.

Thanks for your help Groundbound1, it led me to the solution albeit indirectly!

The path taken doesn't matter, so long as the destination is the right one! Glad I could help. ;)
